Aplications

Typical applications of Occapi Platform are the so called "smart fields" such as smart grid, smart building management, smart traffic, smart home and many others.

The management of smart broadband connections is one example of the use of Occapi Platform for the needs of telecoms operators who build their networks on the basis of the open broadband access concept. This enables them to have a constant overview of the equipment utilisation rate, traffic flow on their broadband connection and the type of traffic in order to plan their investments optimally and reduce their maintenance costs. As they have an exact knowledge of the types of traffic (volume, statistics, highest and lowest values) and user behaviour they can apply the advanced analyses and possible scenarios provided by Occapi to offer new packages and services or to introduce new business models.

Asset Management is typically used in small and medium sized companies, but increasingly also in large enterprises. Occapi enables the automatic capturing of data from the sensors installed in the company's assets (machinery, vehicles, tanks, printers, facilities) and ensures their processing, analysis as well as simple and transparent presentation. Based on exact data company managers and financial directors gain a true insight into the efficiency and utilisation rate of their valuable assets.

By performing simulations they can optimise the asset utilisation rate and use various analyses to optimally plan asset maintenance and significantly reduce the costs of maintenance. This often prolongs the service life of typically very expensive assets.

aplikacije3Smart production management represents the next step of automatisation and informatisation of machines, processes and production. Occapi enables the collection of a much larger amount of data on individual machines and the whole production process than can usually be gathered. Collected data is then analysed in a simple and fast manner with the use of typical scenarios created by production managers. A high degree of flexibility enables focus on various production elements and the use of simple parameters for simulating much more complex production elements and parameters.

Typically this is used to measure and optimise the production in order to improve product quality, speed and price, use of material and similar.
